SUMMARY:Coffee Break Concert
DESCRIPTION:St Peter’s Church hosts a regular series of Saturday morning ‘coffee break’ concerts\, which we are thrilled to be a part of. These were started in 1988 by the organist of the time\, Kendrick Partington\, along with his wife Mary\, and have proved a popular attraction ever since. \n\n\n\nThe hour-long concerts are held at 11am on Saturday mornings\, most regularly during February\, June and October – details are available in church and on the parish website here.  Coffee and biscuits are served from 10.15am.

SUMMARY:First Notes of Spring
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to present this Spring Concert at Our Crafty Place\, marking the very first music concert in this wonderful space and the start of a new chapter for live music there. \n\n\n\nThis concert is especially meaningful to us\, as we are performing in support of Our Crafty Place CIC\, with all ticket proceeds going directly towards helping them continue their vital\, inclusive creative work within the community. We’re also particularly proud that one of our own members\, Kate Hawkins\, is part of the Our Crafty Place team. \n\n\n\nCirrus Clarinet Quartet is made up of four accomplished musicians: \n\n\n\nKate Hawkins – B♭ clarinet \n\n\n\nSteve Milner – E♭\, B♭ and alto clarinets (though not all at the same time!) \n\n\n\nAdam Blakey – B♭ clarinet \n\n\n\nPhil Smith – Bass clarinet \n\n\n\nOur programme offers a richly varied evening of music\, ranging from classical favourites to pieces inspired by swing and klezmer traditions\, showcasing the full colour\, versatility and expressive range of the clarinet family. \n\n\n\nThe concert will begin at 7.30pm and promises a relaxed and uplifting evening of live music in a warm\, welcoming setting. There will be an interval with refreshments. \n\n\n\nWe very much hope you can join us for this special evening – celebrating live music\, supporting a fantastic local organisation\, and helping launch music-making at Our Crafty Place.
